I wanted to let you know that our friend, David Uosikkinen of The Hooters is involved in a cool new project called “In The Pocket: Essential Songs Of Philadelphia”. It’s some of the all-time great Philadelphia musicians covering some of the all-time great Philadelphia songs. The musicians David has gathered to play on these songs include Eric Bazilian (The Hooters), Richard Bush (The A’s, The Peace Creeps), Rob Hyman (The Hooters), Greg Davis (Beru Revue) and William Wittman (Cyndi Lauper). They’ll be releasing each song one at a time and the debut single, ‘All My Mondays’, will be available at songsinthepocket.org for 99 cents beginning October 11th.
