Talkin’ Rock with Fozzy’s Chris Jericho and Envy Of None’s Andy Curran
This is just a fun, cool episode….oh, and very Canadian!
Chris Jericho is a legend in and out of the wrestling ring, and a good dude. Fozzy kicks off their tour in Detroit, so Y2J was nice enough to come by the studio and talk about rock, the tour, the upcoming Fozzy album and life getting back to normal. We talk about the use of backing tracks in the live setting and how he’s managed to drive down so many lanes of the entertainment business. Plus, a bonus question about wearing a sleeping mask, as did Chris L. from the Pod Of Thunder podcast.
Andy Curran is up next – around the 25 minute mark. Of course we talk about hockey, and his team the Blackhawks. Then we get into the Envy of None band. He talks about how it was formed, the album, and the vision Alex Lifeson had for the project. He talks about the last few years of Neil Peart’s life and some great Taylor Hawkins stories of playing with the guys. That’s just for starters….
Enjoy!
