On the auspicious date of 08/08/08, Pierre Robert welcomed The Offspring to our studios for an MMaRchive Session. The band had never done a stripped-down set like this one before, but they enjoyed it so much that they went on to do many more acoustic performances. “Come Out And Play” is one of the songs they played for us that day.
We’re celebrating the year 2008 this weekend on MMR as part of our 50th birthday celebration, and this session is one of many that happened that year; others include Rusted Root, Apocalyptica, and Chrissy Hynde of the Pretenders. More details on our 50th birthday can be found HERE.
