The Struts’ Birthday Surprise for Pierre Robert Download

26:07 Download August 5th

Before taking the stage at the Fillmore Philadelphia on Friday night, the Struts crashed Pierre Robert’s Workforce blocks – live on the air! – with a special birthday surprise.

Luke Spiller, Adam Slack, Jed Elliott, and Gethin Davies spent some time at the WMMR studios to update Pierre on their current tour, their brand new single, and how interesting it’s been to hear their songs in soundtracks and commercials. They also reminisce about the last time they were in Philly, which involved an ice luge and a few shots of tequila…

The band, who hail from the UK, also discussed their relationship with their American fans, and all of their WMMR experiences over the years: MMRBQ, Pierre Presents, a live performance on Preston and Steve, and more.

See the moment that the Struts stunned Pierre on Instagram, and get the concert gallery and setlist on WMMR.com/Pierre.
