Adam Taliaferro Foundation provides emotional, financial and educational support to individuals who suffer catastrophic head or spinal injuries in New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware. The foundation also provides educational and financial support related to the research, prevention and care of such injuries.
This year, the Philadelphia Eagles, Rowan University Athletics, and former Woodstown High School Athletic Director Glenn Merkle will be among the recipients of Adam Taliaferro Foundation Recognition Awards during the Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Gala Celebration.

Andre and Addie Taliaferro Award: Given to a person who through their dedication and commitment has assisted the Adam Taliaferro Foundation in achieving its goals. Recipient: Glenn Merkle, Woodstown High School, Woodstown, NJ
AAA Award: Given to a business or organization that has, through its generosity and commitment, helped guide the Foundation to achieve its goals (named after AAA because of its steadfast support and commitment to the Foundation). Recipient: Philadelphia Eagles, National Football League, Philadelphia, PA
Adam Taliaferro Award: Given to an individual(s) who has overcome severe adversity in their life. Recipient: Matt Helm, Philadelphia, PA
Dr. Harry Gamble Coaches’ Award: Given annually to a school or schools that support the Adam Taliaferro Foundation and all the Foundation stands for. Recipient: Rowan University Athletics, Glassboro, NJ
ATF 2020 Special Recognition Award: Given annually to an organization that unselfishly supports the Adam Taliaferro Foundation. Recipient: Ed Myer South Jersey Chapter of the New Jersey Football Officials
