Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic 2023 at Montage Mountain

Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic is back! And it kicks off Mountainfest weekend at Montage Mountain.


    Friday, March 3, 2023 at Montage Mountain | 10am

    Preston & Steve and Pierre broadcast live. The Fastest Category sleds start about 10:30am, with the Design Category sleds to follow.

    It is FREE to attend the Cardboard Classic as a spectator. Tickets are required for skiing, snowboarding and the Mountainfest Weekend Concerts. See below for all the ways to to get in.

    First Place for best design is $1,000. Other prizes and Sled Categories will be announced soon. Cardboard trophies created and provided by Acme Corrugated Box Co.

    Thanks to the Pro Team Collision Clean Up Crew – they’ll assist in helping some of the sleds that don’t quite make it down the hill (i.e. ‘crash’) get to the bottom/disposal area.

    Sled Registration is free, deadline is Sun 2/26/23. Release Form will be posted here soon and emailed to Team Captains for ALL RIDERS to complete ahead of time.



    Friday, March 3rd: Everclear takes the Mountainfest Main Stage at 5pm

    Saturday, March 4th: Pond Skimming (ski across water in costume) at 11am, Lit on Mountainfest Main Stage at 2:30pm, Fuel headlining at 5pm. A fireworks show on the snow to follow the concert.

    Ways To Get Into Mountainfest Concerts:

    • *SOLD OUT* VIP packages – includes skiing, drink tickets, t-shirt, swag, laminate, VIP access areas, front stage reserved viewing area and more.
    • GA Concert Only Tickets – If you just want to come see the music grab a GA ticket for either day.
    • Lift Tickets – Any lift ticket (ski, snowboard, snowtubing) purchased for either day are valid entry to the concert on the day of your visit.
    • Season Pass- Any winter Montage Mountain Season Passholder can enter the event free with their Season Pass.
