CorrineStrong Unbreakable Spirit Memorial Fund Event

Corrine was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when she was only 12 years old. Despite proton therapy, chemotherapy, and surgery to remove her tumor that left her confined to a wheelchair, Corrine maintained a positive and courageous attitude throughout her treatment – she refused to quit. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her illness less than 2 years after being diagnosed.

One of Corrine’s wishes was that she wanted to leave a positive legacy in this world. After her passing, her family immediately established a scholarship fund that awards a graduating senior at Spring-Ford High School that will be pursuing a career in the health care field with a $1,000 scholarship. Corrine had hoped to be a pediatric oncology nurse, so that she could help other kids fighting cancer.

In 2024, her family partnered with the HEADStrong Foundation to host the inaugural CorrineStrong Unbreakable Spirit Memorial Fundraising Event. The first event was attended by almost 200 people and raised almost $34,000 in one afternoon of fun! This year’s CorrineStrong Unbreakable Spirit Memorial Fundraiser promises to be even bigger and better than last year! There will be food, adult beverages, a silent auction, raffles, and golf simulators to test your skill.

The event will be held on Saturday October 4th from noon-4:00 PM at the Jeffersonville Golf Club in Norristown, PA. Tickets are $85 per person and 100% of the proceeds go directly to HEADStrong.
