Scranton, PA (Jan 11, 2018) – The Peach Music Festival is returning for its 7th year on Thursday, July 19 to Sunday, July 22, and today announced the initial line up of artists coming to Montage Mountain. Performances over the 4-day event will include: legendary bassist from the Grateful Dead Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band, Gov’t Mule (playing two sets, including A Special Performance of “Dark Side of the Mule”), plus Dickey Betts, founding member and guitarist of the Allman Brothers Band. The Peach marks Betts’ first announced performance of 2018 since coming out of retirement. Also on tap to play this year is Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, moe., Chris Robinson Brotherhood & many more. (see initial line up below).
The festival prides itself on a family-friendly atmosphere and great value – FOUR days of music, 50+ artists, and access to a waterpark in the serene mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. Plus fans have the opportunity to take advantage of a layaway program where they only have to put down 10% (+fees) of the ticket price, making this an affordable festival and incredible value for the plethora of music, fun and dancing to be had.
The Peach began seven years ago as the first-ever Allman Brothers Band-inspired festival in the Northeast, and has become a summer festival staple loved by fans from across the nation. Last year’s Peach boasted fans from ALL 50 states & 13 counties from around the world!
