Mega Adoption Events has placed more than 10,000 homeless cats and dogs with loving families. Each one is truly an experience, often with more than 1,000 homeless pets being chosen to join a family over one weekend. Plan to join the fun and find your new furry companion, or if you have a full house, help spread the word to your family and friend!
This is our 11th Mega Adoption Event. Over 1,000 wonderful furry companions will be looking for their forever home – big dogs, small dogs, senior pets, puppies and kittens. The Mega Adoption Event will be held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Cats will be available in Hall B, dogs in Hall C, and meet & greet stations will be available to get to know a potential future family member.
Puppies and kittens get adopted quickly, so if you’re looking to adopt a young animal, consider purchasing a Fast Pass for early access Saturday morning before the official event opening time. Fast passes cost $50 and give access to up to 5 family members for 1 adoption. Fast Pass entry time is Saturday, July 1st from 8:30 am to 10 am.
Adoption information
With 1,000+ adoptable animals, attending the Mega Adoption Event is a wonderful way to find your perfect family member. The adoption process focuses on helping you find the right match for your family. Staff and volunteers will be on-site to help you with your selection, and you will take your pet home the same day you visit.
All animal rescue organizations participating in the event will use the same adoption process, and the $35 adoption fee applies to all animals. The adoption fee includes:

Free post-adoption checkup at one of our Animal Health Centers within 2 weeks of adoption for pets adopted from BVSPCA
