Description:
Each year, family and friends old and new gather for some golf (and some libations) at The McMasters Open on the day after Father’s Day at LuLu Country Club to raise money for Tri-state area veterans suffering from PTSD or traumatic brain injury. The majority of proceeds are donated to our beneficiary partner, Team Foster in order to fund the training and partnering of service dogs and our American heroes. The remainder of proceeds fund the growth of the event and subsidize registration fees for Veteran and active military golfers.

For morning golfers, the day starts with continental breakfast and Jimmy’s famous Bloody Marys, then we tee off in scramble format at 8:00 AM.  Toward the end of the morning round we kick off a huge BBQ lunch with an open bar and all sorts of fun.  While the morning round is wrapping up, the afternoon golfers will have already arrived to join in!  They then tee off at 1:30 PM for their round of golf.  Many will play 36 holes!  There are drinks available all day on the course, and dinner hors d’oeuvre are served after golf finishes up.  The goal, in addition to raising money for this urgent cause, is to win the Anglers Cup and the famed McGreen Jacket.  You will not find a better run or higher class event at our prices, which are available on our website, TheMcMasters.org. There you can register for the event and learn about sponsorship options.
