Blue the Armadillo Visits Preston & Steve

…and terrorizes Kathy Romano!

Blue the Armadillo

Last week we talked about the remains of prehistoric armadillos that were found at the bottom of a dried-out riverbed. The 20,000-year-old animals we the size of a small car!

That info sent us - specifically Kathy - on a rampage and prompted the Academy of Natural Sciences to step in and settle everyone down. Today they brought Blue by the studio to school us about these kinda-creepy-creatures and prove that they're kind of cute after all!

Blue is a part of the Academy of Natural Sciences' trifecta of armadillos featured in the Survival of the Slowest exhibition which will be featured this weekend during Paleopalooza.

Karen Verderame shared tons of great facts & information was Blue wreaked havoc on the studio (scroll for audio & photos)
