The Boss ran the show last week in Philadelphia - two shows, in fact. After a sudden postponement last year, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band finally returned to our city for a double header at Pierre's Good Citizens Park, a.k.a. Citizen's Bank Park.

WMMR had complete concert coverage that began early with an on-air special hosted by Pierre Robert and Kevin Gunn, followed by live broadcasts with Jacky Bam Bam before each show, staying live on air late into the night to get reactions from fans (or Spring Nuts, as some affectionately refer to themselves as).

The weather was perfect, complete with a near-full moon rising over the stadium on Wednesday night, and again on Friday. See setlists from both shows below, and concert shots from Night #2 thanks to Bill Raymond of Digital Noise Mag. Plus, check out video from Night #1 on Pierre's Instagram.

Two gorgeous summer nights with Springsteen in Philadelphia.

From roughly 10:30am to somewhere around 3 (we call it Pierre Standard Time) weekdays Philadelphia rocks with (and loves) Pierre Robert on WMMR. Pierre Robert began his illustrious career at the pioneering progressive rock station KSAN, in his hometown San Francisco, but it’s through his uninterrupted 42-year tenure at Philadelphia‘s legendary WMMR that he’s made his mark. One of the city’s most recognizable celebrities will write about being at the center of its live music scene and greeting his legions of fans as if personal friends in the smallest clubs and largest stadiums.
