Part of Ticketmaster's Encore Drive-In Nights, the concert featured an opening act of Three Days Grace followed by Metallica's hour-and-a-half 16-song set, which opened with "Hardwired" and closed with "Enter Sandman." (A full setlist is below.)
Metallica said in a statement, "Thank you to everyone across North America who rolled out to their local drive-in last night. It was amazing getting together and playing again a few weeks ago when we filmed this and hope that you enjoyed this unique Saturday night at the drive-in with your friends in Metallica. #pandemica" (Outstanding hashtag, BTW.)
