When your mom said “we have food at home,” it would have been nice to know that you had the ingredients to recreate the fast food that you were craving.

The Connoisseur noticed a blog that has a massive collection of restaurant copycat recipes. 45 of them to be exact. And most of them are really good. The featured items range from McDonalds and KFC, to Ikea, and The Cheesecake Factory. Your favorite fast food and fast casual dishes are spotlighted with easy, make at home instructions.

Thanks to, we now have mast a list of recipe cheat codes. We haven’t been this excited since up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start.

Colonel Sanders and Dave Thomas shouldn’t be too worried though. There’s something special about treating yourself to take out food that can’t be replaced. There are little details that you can’t get at home like the perfect ice cube or favorite fry shape. But it is fun to try!

  • McDonald's Chicken McNuggets

  • Chipotle Guacamole

    Many basic folks have tried to recreate Chipotle’s luxury add on, but none of them were quite right. While everyone was stuck at home in the Spring of 2020, the chain’s Executive Chef share the famed guacamole recipe with the world. Chad Brauze keeps it simple with avocados, lime juice, cilantro, red onion, jalapeño and kosher salt, but it’s his mixing method that makes it irresistible.

  • Krispy Kreme Glazed Doughnuts

    Donuts might seem intimidating to a novice baker, but makes the process very approachable. The blog does this by sharing multiple ways to fry the dough. Shake off the nerves and get to frying!

  • Pizza Hut Pan Pizza

    Get your very own Pizza Hut Pizza without even reading a book. But you may want to have one ready, because this recipe will take a while to make. CD Kitchen will have you making your own dough and tomato sauce. Before you know it, you’ll be eating every crumb of your homemade garlicky crust. 

  • Ikea's Swedish Meatballs

    Ikea is another company who released recpies while we were at home during COVID-19. did the conversations for us from metric to US standard measurements. The Swedish company did not release the Lingonberry spread secret, but they did make a very on brand instruction guide.

  • Jack in the Box Tacos

    Jack in the Box tacos are small grease balls of deliciousness and we miss them so much. The list of ingredients include American cheese, refried beans, soy grits, soy protein and shredded iceberg.
