Right around Thanksgiving every year, and sometimes much sooner, holiday decoration lovers far and wide start to put up their Christmas lights and other holiday decorations – most times with temperatures still in the mid-60’s, or warmer. Even though I kind of think it’s a bit too early to put up decorations that soon, I understand wanting to get them up while the weather is still nice out – shorts weather even! I also know that it can be a huge pain in the ‘Santa sack’, and very time consuming, to get all those lights and decorations up to your liking. You also want to be able to enjoy your work before it’s time to take ‘em all down again… another huge pain in the you-know-what, right? Same goes for the inside decorations… in particular, the tree. Real or fake, trees are always fun to decorate and admire throughout the season.
Brent's PBR Tree
This year my mini Christmas trees have themes! Up first, is the “PBR Tree” – I am not quite sure how I accumulated this many Pabst Blue Ribbon ornaments and lights, but here we are! Pabst puts out different and cool holiday merch each year, like these super cool Santa and Devil horn PBR ornaments. The six-pack of pounders is another classy edition to this already extremely classy… and Christmas-y tree!
Brent's WWE Tree
Next up – is my “WWE Tree”. Again, not too sure how I accumulated this many wrasslin’ ornaments… kidding, yes, I do! Similar to Pabst, WWE has great holiday decorations that they put out each year. Like this Fiend/Bray Wyatt “Elf on a Shelf” that I am using as the tree topper. I also really dig this Enzo Amore microphone. If you zoom in on a couple of the pictures, you can see the TLC (Tables, Ladders & Chairs” ornaments… the table breaks in half to become two different pieces to hang! Last but certainly not least, the Hall of Famer ornaments, including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior, Sting, The nWo and other greats!
These trees were a lot of fun to create and put together. I will be looking for some more WWE & PBR ornaments to add to this beautiful disarray for next year… after the holidays are over and they are on sale! And who knows, maybe next year I may have to add a third, themed, mini-tree… NASCAR!
