Afternoons 3PM - 7PM

WWE’s “Showcase of the Immortals”, Wrestlemania 39 weekend is here! The matchups on this year’s card is definitely setting the stage for one of the best Mania’s of all time! WWE goes full-on Hollywood this weekend with a series of shows beginning with WWE Smackdown Live airing on FOX from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California at 8p here on the east coast. The 2023 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will immediately follow Smackdown live on Peacock. Saturday the festivities kick-off early with the black and gold brand NXT and their “Stand & Deliver” premium live event also being held inside the Crypto.com Arena with a start time of 1pm here on the east.

The party then moves about 10 miles away to the 70,000+ capacity SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California for night 1 of the “The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment” Wrestlemania 39! Mike “The Miz” Mizanin will be the official host of “The Granddaddy of Them All” with a rumored “musical number” to kick-off the night beginning at 8pm on Peacock.

Currently, there are 13 matches scheduled between the two nights of Wrestlemania 39, and I am going to give you my predictions for each of the Mania matches. The first batch of predictions below (in no particular order) will be for the Undercard both nights, and then check back tomorrow for my predictions for the Championship matches.

  • Brock Lesnar vs. Omos

I hope this matchup isn’t boring! This has potential to be a pretty good match when these monsters collide inside the squared circle. Then again, it could be a quick, stinker too. Brock, the ‘Beast Incarnate’, is usually the larger of the two opponents in any given match, but not this time, as Omos the “Nigerian Giant” is nearly a foot taller than Brock and close to 150 pounds heavier.  Even though I expect plenty outside interference from MVP and Omos to dominate most of the match, I think Brock will take the Win.

    Winner: Brock Lesnar

  • Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Logan Paul

This match has the potential to steal the show this weekend! Seth Rollins is one of the most decorated WWE Superstars in history, but Logan Paul, yes that Logan Paul, has shown all of professional wrestling that he can most certainly hang with the big boys. This one is tough to call, however, I think Seth Rollins will outlast Logan Paul to take the victory… but barely.

    Winner: Seth “Freakin” Rollins

  • Becky Lynch, Lita & Trish Stratus vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai & IYO SKY)

This feud has been brewing for weeks now and it will officially come to a head in a six-woman tag team match at Wrestlemania 39. There are some rumors floating around that Stratus is set turn on her teammates igniting a feud with Becky Lynch moving forward. Damage CTRL will have just a little bit more fight and resilience in the end to take the victory.

    Winner: Damage CTRL

  • Edge vs. Finn Balor (Hell in a Cell Match)

A multi-ton steel cage will surround the squared circle for this one as Edge seeks revenge on Finn Balor and Judgement Day. It also looks as if Finn will resurrect his Demon persona for this one making him even more difficult to beat. There are rumors of former Brood members Gangrel and possibly even Christian joining Edge at ringside for this almost certain classic.

    Winner: Edge

  • Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez vs. Natalya & Shotzi vs. Ronda Rousey & Shayna Bazler vs. Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville

This is a fatal four-way tag team match, with the winner, presumably, going on to challenge the WWE Woman’s Tag Team Champions at some point in the future.

    Winner: Rousey & Bazler

  • Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. The Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. Viking Raiders

This is one of the two “showcase” matches added to the Mania card in hopes of getting as many WWE Superstars on the show as possible. The assumption is, that the winner of this match will then be in the WWE tag team title discussion moving forward. It is also heavily rumored that Kevin Owes and Sammy Zayn are prepping to win the tag titles off of The Usos this weekend. My prediction boils down to who I want to see face KO & Sammy and that would be The Viking Raiders.

    Winner: Viking Raiders

  • Dominik Mysterio vs. Rey Mysterio

This Dad vs. Son match has been in the works for quite a few months now. Rey & Dom were the first-ever father/son tag team champions in professional wrestling history. Soon after they lost the titles, Dom turned on his dad and joined The Judgement Day and he has been denouncing the Mysterio name and looking to fight his father ever since. I really hope Rey doesn’t hold back on the a**-whopping that his son Dom deserves.

    Winner: Rey Mysterio (via Disqualification)
