Final phase of the Wells Fargo Center Construction
Pancake and I attended a press conference at the Wells Fargo Center to learn about the final phase of construction. President Phil Laws gave an update on the over $400 million renovation project, which is supporting hundreds of jobs in South Philadelphia. The transformation will ensure that the New Wells Fargo Center remains a world-class venue for hockey, basketball, and more for decades to come.
Below are some artist’s renderings of what the new arena will look like. The images show a more open and spacious design, with new amenities and technology. The renovation is expected to be completed in 2023.
We were excited to see the progress that has been made on the project, and frankly, we did like wearing the hard hats.
Club Level has been completely overhauled
The Wells Fargo Center Club Level is a great place to watch sports and concerts. It has a new store with clothes that you can’t get anywhere else. There is also a big open area to relax and hang out. Club Level ticket holders have a special entrance to the arena.
The store has all kinds of cool stuff, like hats, shirts, and even jerseys. You can also find souvenirs and gifts there. The open area is a great place to meet up with friends before or after the game. There are tables, chairs, and even a fireplace to keep you warm.
The private entrance is really convenient. You can skip the long lines and get right into the arena. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they will make sure you have a great time.
The Club Level is a great way to enjoy a game or concert. You get great seats, access to exclusive merchandise, and a private entrance. It’s the perfect place to relax and have fun.
Upper Level
The upper level of the Wells Fargo Center is a great place to watch games. It has a lot of cool stuff, like a big room with games, a bar with food and drinks, and a special section for people who want to stand up and cheer. Tickets are only $25, so it’s a great deal.
Shift4 Club
The new Shift4 Club is in the Wells Fargo Center, close to the action. It has a modern feel with a mix of city culture and luxury. The club has a big kitchen with two 50-foot bars. They make custom food and drinks. The club is a great place to entertain clients or friends. It is a special place to watch a game or concert.
LED Tech
ANC and Wells Fargo Center worked together to make the arena more high-tech. They added 10,000 square feet of LED screens, 103 displays, 68 servers, and more. Now, the arena can change for each event, so every game, concert, or show feels different.
After the final phase of the Wells Fargo Center Construction it is going to look sweet!

Part of the over $400 million dollar transformation project at the Wells Fargo Center was the reimagining of the Club Level. Prior to the construction, the Club & Suite levels were a bit more closed off to the general public. Now, the Club Level has an open floor plan boasting a number of new bars and lounge areas including a number of world-class dining options like Jose Garces & Steven Starr. There is also a ton of cool art to check out, like this illuminated sign featuring some area legends.
