Mark Tremonti: 3 Guitar Moments That’ll Melt Your Face Off
Mark Tremonti has many irons in the musical fire. Here’s a few of our favorite solos from the Creed and Alter Bridge guitarist.

Alter Bridge at Franklin Music Hall on Feb. 5
Digital Noise MagMark Tremonti is one of the busiest guitarists in rock and metal. His talents are heard in Alter Bridge, Creed, and his own solo band Tremonti. He even recently recorded a collection of Frank Sinatra songs, the sales of which support the National Down Syndrome Society, and Brent Porche was there to see him perform them live in Atlantic City earlier this year.
Today is Mark Tremonti's birthday (a milestone - the big 5-0!) and we sifted through his lengthy discography to turn up our favorite guitar solos from him. Listen to them below, and let us know what you think on Facebook and Instagram.

Alter Bridge - "Metalingus"
"Metalingus" from Alter Bridge's debut album absolutely shreds from beginning to end. WWE superstar Edge still uses it as his entrance theme.
Alter Bridge - "Blackbird"
Skip to the 6:30 mark to watch a fiery solo from Mark live at Resurrection Fest in Spain last year.
Creed - "What If"
This vintage Creed track appears on Human Clay as well as the Scream 3 soundtrack. Mark says the intro was inspired by "Paint It, Black" by the Rolling Stones. (Source.)
BONUS: Mark Tremonti sings "Burn It Down"
This video is from last year's Alter Bridge show at the Franklin Music Hall. Typically Myles Kennedy sings it, but Mark took the lead on this one.
