About Herr's:
The history of Herr's potato chips begins in 1946, when 21-year-old James Stauffer Herr bought a small potato chip company in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Herr was a graduate of Millersville State College, and he had no prior experience in the food industry. However, he was a hard worker and he was determined to succeed.
Herr started out by selling his potato chips to local stores. He quickly gained a reputation for making high-quality chips, and his business began to grow.
