The big game is next Sunday and Philly’s most loved athletes are competing for the title. Oh...you thought we meant THAT game? The one the Eagles are playing in? Oh no, the OTHER big game that day. Puppy Bowl XIX!

If you need to calm your nerves before the game at 6:30, since, you know, it’s a big friggin’ deal, you can definitely put on the Puppy Bowl at 2 pm for your watch party. The stakes are lower. The players are cuter. And the fun is paramount. Plus, you heard it right, there are some local puppies from around the Delaware Valley making an appearance at the 19th Puppy Bowl.

Here are the cuties from this year’s lineup that you need to know about:

What’s next for them?

These adorable fur-babies are available for adoption (after they play in the big game, of course). The event aims to uplift shelter pets and the animal welfare organizations that work year-round to help them. When you watch the Puppy Bowl, you're supporting a great cause. Puppy Bowl XIX will air on Animal Planet and stream on discovery+ starting at 2 pm.
