The 15th Annual Kensington Derby & Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 from 12pm to 6pm on Trenton Avenue from Norris Street to Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia. The Derby parades a 3 mile route through Fishtown and Kensington, ending in the Mud Pit.
Did we mention there will be mud and lots of fun homemade vehicles? Come out and cheer the competitors on.
There will be lots of music too!
Over 100 artists and vendors selling their wares, including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, clothing, and more. There will also be a variety of food trucks and restaurants serving delicious food from all over the world. In addition, there will be live music performances, a beer garden, and a kids’ zone with activities and games.
The Kensington Derby & Arts Festival is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia. It’s a fun and festive event that celebrates the city’s diverse community. Admission to the festival is free.
