Doc Rivers, cancelled practice on Thursday afternoon. Respectfully, he told reporters, “it was the human thing to do.”

As shared by the Philadelphia Inquirer, around 12:30pm the Sixers head coach said, “It’s just so much stuff that’s going on, so many rumors… I just thought the human thing to do, instead of the coaching thing, was to just be very straightforward with our guys and tell them, ‘I get it.’

Then it happened. Just after 1pm, news broke that James Harden is coming to Philly and Ben Simmons is gone.

The official trade looks like this: Sixers receive James Harden and Paul Millsap, in exchange the Brooklyn Nets get Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks.
