STONE TEMPLE PILOTS Plot Core Reissue: Rolling Stone

Stone Temple Pilots have unearthed rare tracks, demos and live recordings for a 25th anniversary reissue of their debut album Core. The deluxe version of this will include the band’s MTV Unplugged session, on disc for the first time in history. Core has been certified eight times platinum since its release in 1992, and the reissue will be out on September 29th.

Muse performed a special show in New York City’s Central Park last night that benefited the city's Coalition for the Homeless. The organization said the show was Muse's idea, with proceeds from ticket sales going directly to the charity. Their set included favorites like "Super Massive Blackhole,” "Bliss," and "Hysteria," as well as a cover of the Cramps' "New Kind Of Kick."

IRON MAIDEN Frontman Announces Memoir Details: Loudwire

Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson will release his highly anticipated memoir this year. What Does This Button Do? will see release on October 19th.

The book’s description reads: “For the first time, Bruce tells his story in his own words. A man who never gives interviews about his personal life now shares the most fascinating recollections, including his thirty years with Maiden, realizing his dream of flying jumbo jets ,and his recent battle with tongue cancer.” It's available for preorder now.
