Good news: Halestorm look to be back at work on their fourth studio album, and they’re seemingly in the highest of spirits that can be summed up in two words:
Sex saddle.
That’s not a typo, and we can prove it in the teaser clip below from the band’s YouTube page. (Slightly NSFW language ahead)
So far, everything seems to be very secretive music-wise, but Lzzy Hale did reveal an interesting tidbit about one song in particular in a recent conversation with WMMR’s Brent Porche that calls back to Halestorm’s early, early days:
“We wrote a new song for our new record, which I can’t tell you anything about, but what I can tell you is that there’s one chord progression that I ended up purposely using from our first song called ‘Love Is Power,’ and I used the same progression throughout the entire song. So that was interesting because I played it for my little brother [Arejay] and he knew right away. He’s like, ‘Did you just steal from yourself?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah!’”
