In Other Rock News… (January 22)
Pearl Jam and Joe Perry make up the January 22 installment of “In Other Rock News.” Enjoy!
Pearl Jam’s “Home Shows”
In what will certainly be one of the hottest tickets this summer (and for a great cause), Pearl Jam has just announced August 8 and 10 concerts at Safeco Field in Seattle. The band will be pledging $1 million from the revenue of these shows to benefit various homelessness programs in Seattle.
(Fun fact: These stadium gigs will be the first Seattle shows Pearl Jam has book in five years. So, yeah…we weren’t kidding about it being a hot ticket.)

Joe Perry Signing Taking Place At Newbury Comics
Joe Perry is heading back to Boston and heading straight to the comic store!
Perry’s going to be a Newbury Comics in Boston signing copies of his new solo LP Sweetzerland Manifesto on Thursday, January 25 beginning at 6 PM. We wonder when the line is going to start…
Also, we desperately hope someone is going to have him sign a copy of the 1990 Rock n Roll Comics issue #11 titled Aerosmith – Rock This Way! (You know someone is going to bring a copy!)
