STP Doc In The Works
Stone Temple Pilots have a busy spring ahead of them with a new album and tour coming up soon, but there another project in the early stages that will surely please fans.
Kent Sevener, the Executive Vice President of the Showtime network, told Broadcasting & Cable in a recent interview that an STP documentary is currently in the works. So far, a release date hasn’t been determined, but the project in Showtime’s hands is certainly promising. Some of their recent works include the acclaimed Eric Clapton: Life In 12 Bars and The Beach Boys: Making Pet Sounds.
Until then, fans will be counting down the days until the release of the band’s new self-titled album, their first with new singer Jeff Gutt, due out March 16th, and then they’ll join us at the MMRBQ on May 19th.
