The Edgewater Hotel, the setting of the (alleged...wink-wink) infamous “mudshark incident” involving Led Zeppelin and/or Vanilla Fudge, has recently unveiled the Pearl Jam suite. The band-themed room joins the hotel’s Beatles suite as part of its rock n’ roll offerings.
Can’t find a better room? Or do we know we don’t wanna stay? Here are our pros and cons of the room.
PRO: A portion of the per night rate goes to local Seattle charities.
From now through Pearl Jam’s homecoming shows in August, ten percent of the room’s per night rate with go to various local charities that benefit the homeless.
CON: The per night rate.
Look, we get that it’s a special suite, but $1,994 a night not including taxes and fees?! That’s more than a bit much.
PRO: The amenities are pretty awesome.
From the views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains to the in-room guitar and amp and the turntable with PJ albums, the room is literally a Pearl Jam super-fan’s dream.
CON: The dog in the publicity photos is not included!
While nothing was specified in the fine print, we doubt the very cute French Bulldog in the publicity photos for the room isn’t included. We’re going to venture a guess that the hot model isn’t either. (For real, they're both very cute and very hot!)
