U2 End Show Due To Bono’s Voice Loss: Rolling Stone
U2 abruptly ended their concert in Berlin on Saturday night after Bono was struck with “a complete loss of voice.” Five songs in, Bono informed the crowd in a hoarse voice, “I’m so sorry… I was ready to sing for you, but something has happened and I think we can’t go on.” He then suggested that the band take a 10-minute break; however, the concert was ultimately called off. U2 has rescheduled the show and released a statement that says in part: “So happy and relieved that anything serious has been ruled out.”
FOO FIGHTERS Perform with Krist Novoselic in Seattle: WMMR.com
The Foo Fighters were also forced to reschedule two shows on their Canadian tour, due to Dave Grohl losing his voice. There’s no word on what happened to Dave, but he posted a statement that says: “That’s the last time I ever make out with Bono.” (Ha!)
The most recent Foo show, which was in Seattle, featured a surprise guest: Krist Novoselic, formerly of Nirvana. He joined the band to cover “Molly’s Lips” by the Vaselines, which was a favorite of Kurt Cobain’s, and appears on the Nirvana album Incesticide.

New AC/DC Album Will Feature Previously Unreleased Guitar Tracks By Malcolm Young: Loudwire
A “reliable source inside the AC/DC camp” has confirmed that previously unreleased guitar parts from Malcolm Young will be featured on the rhythm section of every song from the band’s next album. The AC/DC guitarist passed away in November of last year at the age of 64 after suffering from dementia for several years.
Other members of the group, including the estranged Brian Johnson, have been spotted around a studio in Vancouver in recent weeks, so we know that new material is on the way. As for Malcolm’s tracks, he had recorded a number of songs with brother Angus in 2003, and they’re planning to bring it out of the vaults for this upcoming release.
