Remember Yoyoka Soma, the young Japanese girl who went viral last year with her drum cover of Led Zeppelin's "Good Times, Bad Times"? She's still killing it on the drums and has now gotten on Ellen Degeneres' radar.

Soma appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show today where she performed a drum cover of the Foo Fighters' "The Pretender." Before her performance, Ellen asked Soma who some of her favorite drummers were, and she named Dave Grohl.

After her cover of "The Pretender," which she crushed, Ellen surprised Soma with a video message from Grohl who said, "Hey Yoyoka! This is Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters. I’ve seen you play ‘The Pretender’ before and you’re amazing! So keep it up, because the world needs more drummers.” (Grohl's message takes place around the 7:15 mark in the video below.)
