Dave Grohl has announced "The Hanukkah Sessions," a Hanukkah song collection he's releasing in partnership with producer Greg Kurstin.
Grohl shared the video below via the Foo Fighters' social media accounts announcing the collection. The video intros with Kurstin saying, "Hi. I'm Greg Kurstin, and I'm Jewish." Grohl follows with, "And I'm Dave Grohl. I'm not Jewish, but this year, instead of doing a Christmas song, Greg and I decided to celebrate Hanukkah by recording eight songs by eight famous Jewish artists and releasing one song each night of Hanukkah for you. So, we hope you enjoy."

The video was also captioned in a Yiddish-heavy message that reads as follows: "With all the mishegas of 2020, Greg and I were kibbitzing about how we could make Hanukkah extra-special this year. Festival of Lights?!? How about a festival of tasty LICKS!!! So hold on to your tuchuses because we’ve got something special coming for your shayna punims. L’chaim!!!!"
Hanukkah starts at sundown tonight (December 10.) Grohl and Kurstin didn't detail how they would be releasing "The Hanukkah Sessions," but don't be surprised if the songs end up on YouTube or other major digital streaming services.
