Mick Jagger took a moment during the Rolling Stones' show on October 14 in Los Angeles to address Paul McCartney's recent comments about the band.

In a new interview with The New Yorker published earlier this week, McCartney said, "I’m not sure I should say it, but they’re a blues cover band, that’s sort of what the Stones are. I think [The Beatles'] net was cast a bit wider than theirs."

Jagger shared the video below to his social media channels showing him addressing the crowd. He said, "There’s so many celebrities here tonight, of course, you know, naturally. Megan Fox is here. She’s lovely. Leonardo DiCaprio. Lady Gaga. Kirk Douglas – misread that one. Paul McCartney is here. He’s going to join us in a blues cover later on."

Cheeky...very cheeky, Mick!

"Governor Newsom is here," said Jagger. "You made it through the election. Well done, congratulations. We’re so looking forward to a nice dinner at the whatever it's called, the French Launderette."
