via Fame on FireFame on Fire will be sharing the stage with SiM at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia tonight (5/14). Here's what you need to know about the band.
Get to know Fame on Fire
Fame on Fire barreled out of Palm Beach, Florida in 2013 and they've had their foot on the gas ever since. The group gained notoriety by releasing heavy metal covers of pop and hip-hop hits from Halsey, Lil Uzi Vert and Ed Sheeran, to name a few. Bryan Kuznitz (vocals), Blake Saul (guitar), Paul Spirou (bass) and Alex Roman (drums) quickly applied that genre bending finesse to their own songwriting.
They broke into the mainstream with the single "Welcome to the Chaos," garnering positive press from outlets like Kerrang and Bravewords. Listen to their newest song, "Nightmare (The Devil)" below.
The last time the band performed live in our area was last September at the Foundry for The Chaos Tour. See the setlist here.
Who else is playing at Brooklyn Bowl tonight?
Headlining the show at Brooklyn Bowl tonight is Japanese alt-metal acts SiM (Silence iz Mine).
Get to the gig early to catch note only Fame On Fire, but also Crystal Lake from Tokyo and Within Destruction from Slovenia.

Motley Crue kicked off their tour in Atlantic City, NJ over the weekend at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena. Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers opened the shows, and MMR was in the house for both nights.
On the first night, Friday May 3rd, fans were treated the live debut of Motley Crue's brand new song "Dogs of War". Watch footage from the show below.
In an interview with Radio Sara of WMMR Philadelphia, Vince Neil and Tommy Lee confirmed that more new material is on the way, but it might not be in the form of an LP. Neil tells us: “You put out 10, 11 songs (in an album) and half of the songs never get heard by anybody. And we figured if we do a couple songs at a time, we’d give it the full attention that it needs and put out singles. That’s what we want to do right now.”
Tommy Lee adds: “I think it’s cool. Because what’s going to happen here is you’re going to get more, more frequently. The albums take forever to kind of conceptually put together, to record, do all that stuff, (and) it could be several years between a release. Now we’ll just go in and record something and we’ll just put it right out.”
Next up for Motley Crue is an underplay tonight (5/6) at a small club in NYC, the Bowery Ballroom. Maybe they'll bust out a deep cut for that one. Below, see the setlist from their tour kickoff on May 3rd and photos from the show on May 4th courtesy of Bill Raymond.
