The Preston & Steve “JJ Phrase” Returns For April 1st Philadelphia Flyers Game

During tonight's broadcast, Monday, April 1, 2024, Flyers broadcaster, Jim Jackson will work an off-the-wall phrase into his play-by-play. This is a long honored tradition between JJ and The Preston & Steve Show. This tradition began in 2010. Friend of the show, Jim Jackson was live on 93.3 WMMR. The morning show challenged JJ to work a secret word into the broadcast as a nod to Preston & Steve Show fans. That word was "Jabroni," made Philly famous by Preston Elliot and Steve Morrison's cameo on It's Always Sunny on Philadelphia. Soon after the initial Easter Egg, we asked JJ to do it again. But this time, make a game out it. We asked listeners to take note of the exact time JJ said the phrase and call in the next day. This tradition has continued for 14 years. After a brief hiatus, it returns today.
