Brief Description:
Naz-A-Thon is Nazareth Academy’s annual 12-hour dance marathon driven by a single goal: to raise awareness and funds for CHOP. As a completely student run community service group, our girls work year-round to partner with sponsors, host events, and get out into the community to raise as much money as possible ahead of the big event. This Friday is the culmination of this year’s efforts—a showing of community that we are all in the fight against childhood cancer and illness together. The girls host an amazing event with choreographed morale dances, special guest appearances, live bands, and most importantly, miracle families (families touched by the work of CHOP) stop by to give inspiring testimonies of the great work CHOP is doing. This year, the girls have chosen to donate to the following departments: Child Life Department, Genetics Program, and the Department of Child &Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

With well over $1 million dollars raised to date, Naz-A-Thon is the third highest ranked high school dance marathon fundraiser in the country. As always, the girls try to top themselves each year.
