Marisa & Team Fred Barnett Win the NRG Charity Game at The Linc
$30,000 donated to local organizations!

Blog post from Marisa:
Our friends at NRG energy host an annual media flag football game at Lincoln Financial Field and this year I was honored to receive an invitation to play! Not only was I receiving the opportunity to step onto the same field I spend my Sundays looking down upon while wedged in green plastic seats surrounded by family and friends, but my participation would also tie into a donation to the Philadelphia Red Cross.
24 members of various local media outlets were divided into four groups and assigned a celebrity coach. I'll spare you the details, because the only team you need to know about is the winning team (my team!) coached by former Eagles Wide Receiver, Fred Barnett: Cory Donovan (Philly.com), Sean Bell & Chris O'Connell (Fox 29), Roberta Pipto (HomeMadeDelish.com) & Tony Abraham (Generocity.org)
We dominated the field... and the six o'clock sports report:
That's CSN's Natalie Egenolf taking drastic measures to keep me out of the end zone.

Marisa Magnatta, left, WMMR personality, and Chris O'Connell, Fox 29 News anchor, celebrate a score during the 4th annual NRG Charity Flag Football Game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia Monday, Oct., 3, 2016. Each player played for a Philadelphia-area charity, and in total NRG donated $30,000. (Mark Stehle/AP Images for NRG Home)
Then there was inevitable post-game trash talking (Dan McQuade/@dhm is quite the sore loser):
Special congratulations to Tony who earned the MVP trophy and an extra large donation to his charity, Save the Children Syria.
Way to go, Team Barrett!!
