Thank you Caseyboy for reminding us that Crock Pots are an awesome tool for the kitchen and make a great holiday gift (Casey and his wife both gifted each other the gadget for Christmas).
In fact Casey has been singing the praises of the Crock Pot for years. Unfortunately, when he asked Robert Irvine for recipes, the celebrity chef snickered. He is not a fan of the slow cooker. Well, screw that!
We planned a slow cooker challenge and requested that Robert do the taste testing. Reluctantly, he agreed. To make it fair we made it a blind taste test, by bringing in two blind listeners, Scott and Oz. Steve Morrison finished off the judging panel.
After tasting Nick’s Dip, Kathy’s Tacos, Casey’s Kielbasa & Preston’s Beef Stew there was a tie… Casey & Preston took the crock. Congratulations!
