Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder made his debut on Twin Peaks over the weekend, although he was introduced by the name he was given when he was born, Edward Louis Severson.


Pearl Jam Fun Facts! In case you didn't know, Eddie was born Edward Louis Severson III.  His parents got divorced in 1965, when Vedder was still just a baby. His mother eventually got remarried, to a man named Peter Mueller. Eddie grew up believing that Mueller was his biological dad. By the time Vedder learned the truth, his real dad, Edward Severson, Jr. had died of multiple sclerosis.

Vedder previously appeared briefly as a musician in 1992's "Singles" and as himself delivering a memorable speech in "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story":

Showtime's revival of David Lynch's early 90s cult TV series Twin Peaks includes original cast members Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Sherilynn Fenn, Wendy Robie and David Duchovny as well as Naomi Watts, Michael Cera, Amanda Seyfried, Laura Dern and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
