"Doot, doot, doot... thump, thump, thump..." - unless you are Snooki, those are not soothing sounds to fall asleep to.
NJ.com is reporting that a mystery sound can be heard up and down the river around Carneys Point, Penns Grove and Pennsville starting in the early evening and playing until 4 o'clock in the morning.
Can you figure it out?:
When we played the audio on the air residents called in suggesting it could be:
- Construction of a nearby bridge
- Music from a local club
- Workers on the dredge
