Incubus’ Next Album: We (Maybe) Know the Title

Incubus has been relatively quiet as of late, but they may have dropped some hints about their next studio album they’re currently working on for release this year.

WMMR’s Music Director Sara received a package from Brandon Boyd yesterday (February 5) containing the singer’s newly released Two Doors/Deus Portes: An Optimystic Memory Game. Boyd announced the game in December 2018.

The game contained no note or instructions, but the enclosed 72 tiles featured beautiful graphics and multi-syllable words.  So, Sara did what most would do in this situation: Sit down and play.

Sara then did the next thing most would do in this situation: Tweet at Boyd to see if this has anything to do with the new album.

His response is below. Don’t know about you, but three hand-clapping emojis sandwiched between two growing heart emojis might just mean the new Incubus album is called Two Doors.

Fans interested in snagging their own copy of Two Doors/Deus Portes: An Optimystic Memory Game can do so at BrandonBoyd.me.
