Tom DeLonge and his passion for UFOs is leading him to the not-so-far-off corners of basic cable with a new History Channel mini-series.

Airing in May, Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation features DeLonge as executive producer and focuses on the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program that was dissolved in 2012. A majority of the series centers around Luis Elizondo, who managed the program.

Elizondo and DeLonge work together as part of DeLonge’s To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science that launched in 2014.

This series will be the first time Elizondo is speaking publically about the program in order “to expose a series of startling encounters and embark on fascinating new investigations that will urge the public to ask questions and look for answers” according to the description of the teaser trailer for the mini-series below.

An exact premiere date for Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation has yet to be announced.
