Dave Grohl is not one for rest, so it should come as no surprise that he's working on a mysterious new project.

Brandi Carlile offered up some tiny details in a recent chat with Rolling Stone when discussing she and Grohl recently busking in Seattle's Pike Place Market.

Carlile said, “I don’t totally want to give it away, but he came out to my house to talk to me about something he’s working on. It’s more like one of his doc-series. We hung out and rode four-wheelers around my house all day, cooked dinner and did shots of tequila — just had a great time.”

Carlile continued, "We talked about and went to a few key places that were important in both of our lives, and places he used to hang out with Kurt [Cobain] and the guys. We have the same guitar tech that Nirvana used, Ernie Bailey. We talked about some of their scallywag shenanigans. Then we went to some restaurants and bars I used to play and busk at.”

Time will only tell what Grohl is cooking up for all of us. In the meantime, he and the Foo Fighters will be spending the spring and summer months working the festival circuit both in the United States and in Europe. Their first festival date is May 11 at the Epicenter Festival in Rockingham, N.C. A full list of Foo Festival dates can be found on their Facebook page.
