It’s been a while since Rob McElhenney checked in, so there was a lot of catching up to do. Life’s “so good! So busy. So great!” The joy and confidence was oozing through the phone from the guy who, “in a twist of fate,” now lives next door to the baseball player he once begged to be his BFF. Yep, Mac and Chase are neighbors and proudly share their bromance across all social media platforms.

We learn all about the brand new Apple streaming service series Rob & Charlie Day have in the works about the masterminds behind the world’s biggest [fictional] video game, the status of Always Sunny’s next season and he gets real about “Game of Thrones.”

As if you couldn’t admire this guy anymore, Rob adorably mentions that he’ll be in town soon to visit his grandmother. She just turned 97 years old. (dawwwwww!)

There’s also an annual golf tournament happening on July 15th that is really important to the McElhenney family. It benefits CORA, a local organization that makes a big impact in the community.
