Starring Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson and Zack Gottsagen, this movie also has a Philly connection with executive producer, Aaron Scotti, who grew up in Conshohocken and came in to visit us in February to chat about the movie, "Arctic" (starring Mads Mikkelsen).
A modern twist on an Mark Twain style adventure story, "Peanut Butter Falcon" is about Zak, a young man with Down syndrome, who runs away from a nursing home to follow his dream of becoming a professional wrestler and follow in the footsteps of his idol, The Salt Water Redneck.

The movie also stars John Hawkes, Thomas Haden Church, Bruce Dern and Jon Bernthal and hits theaters on August 9.
