New music from the Foo Fighters will always have buzz around it, and a recent interview from Dave Grohl will surely add to said buzz.

Per Consequence of Sound, Dave Grohl said of the Foo's tenth studio LP, "The record is so good, we’re so excited for people to hear it, we’re so excited to go out and play it. It’s filled with anthemic, huge, sing-along rock songs. It’s kind of like a dance record, but not an EDM, disco, modern dance record. It’s got groove. To me, it’s our David Bowie’s 'Let’s Dance' record. That’s what we wanted to make, we wanted to make this really up, fun record."

Of course, the timeline for release of this yet-to-be-titled album is currently unknown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Grohl told Q Magazine (as transcribed by U.K.'s Radio X), "We've kind of shelved it for now to figure out exactly when it's going to happen."

Also affected by the coronavirus pandemic is the Foo Fighters' 25th anniversary tour. Originally set to take place in the spring, most North American dates have been pushed back to the fall, however, the future of concerts in 2020 is still up in the air.
