Johnson famously exited the band while on tour in 2016 due to hearing issues, and Axl Rose filled in on vocals for AC/DC’s remaining tour dates. This new report says that Johnson will be fronting the band on stage again thanks to special in-ear monitors that prevent further damage to his hearing.

Just yesterday (July 14), AC/DC put a call out to fans asking them to share their favorite Back In Black memories on Instagram with the hashtag #BackInBlack40. They asked fans to share anything and everything from photos of vintage merch to performing songs from Back In Black or even classic photos.
