Freddie Mercury was able to see an early cut of the classic "Bohemian Rhapsody" scene in Wayne's World before he died.

Brian May and Roger Taylor made special appearances during the Wayne's World "Reunited Apart" special hosted by Josh Gad, and May shared this bit of information with Mike Myers, Dana Carvey and the rest of the cast of the 1992 comedy hit.

May says, "You, Mike, did get me the videotape. It was a VHS or something. I took it around to Freddie not long before he went and showed it to him, because you said you wanted to have that approval. And he loved it! He just laughed and laughed and laughed. He was very weak, but he just smiled and laughed. How wonderful is that?"

May and Taylor weren't the only rock icons to make an appearance during this incredible special, which can be viewed in its entirety below. Alice Cooper, who had a hilarious cameo in the film, also appeared on "Reunited Apart." (Fans of Wayne's World will appreciate his Delaware background during the virtual reunion special.) Also making an appearance at the top of the special was Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, who famously appeared in a Wayne's World sketch on Saturday Night Live and later appeared in Wayne's World 2.
