Rainn Wilson deleted his Twitter earlier today saying, "I have decided to quit Twitter. It’s just too toxic and a time-suck. Degrading to my self-esteem. I will miss all my friends here! Goodbye forever."

Eleven minutes later, Wilson stated he "decided to return to Twitter. I will not let my voice be silenced by the toxic bullies. So good to be back! It’s a whole new chapter!"

Perhaps he took a page out of Chrissy Teigen's Twitter disappearance, although she showed somewhat more discipline: hers lasted three weeks. She attributed her leave on March 24 to the site no longer serving a positive role in her life.

When she came back a few days ago, Teigen said, "turns out it feels TERRIBLE to silence yourself and also no longer enjoy belly chuckles randomly throughout the day and also lose like 2000 friends at once lol."
