Kathy’s Fall Activities: Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary

Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary is a new festival-style celebration with 15 attractions, including 2 haunted houses (which you can skip if you want a less scary experience), a 3D fun house, live performances, Halloween-themed bars and special-effects shows.  The penitentiary complex, located in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, will be open to the public for the very first time. The festival model allows for guests to choose their own path and spend more time exploring freely. The live performances bring suspense and entertainment, but not too much of a scare and the bars include scary and non-scary options.
