Little Richard Documentary In Theaters Friday April 21st

The Little Richard documentary, I Am Everything is coming out through independent film studio Magnolia Pictures. Directed by Lisa Cortés.

A bunch of people were interviewed for this documentary including: Ashon Crawley, Mick Jagger, Tom Jones, Billy Porter, Billy Vera and Keith Winslow.

This is a movie about David Johansen told in a unique way.  You watch Buster Poindexter perform. He story tells a lot as well. Much of the film revolves around The New York Dolls and has some tremendous old clips and photos. If you didn't follow David Johansen's career from the Vagabond Missionaries to the New York Dolls to Buster Poindexter, you might not know he is the singer of all. He is also an actor, and this movie was filmed in 2020. Showtime Documentary Films announced on July 7, 2020 that Martin Scorsese would direct the film. It was filmed in 2020.
