BLACK FRIDAY is also RECORD STORE DAY!! (It’s Record Store Day for me every day!!…)
RSD was conceived in 2007 as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US. The first RSD took place on April 19, 2008. Today, it’s celebrated at independently owned brick-and-mortar record stores around the world.
Please join in as we flip through the racks together. I will visit 3 locations on November 24, 2023, and vinyl shop alongside YOU. How cool is it that Black Friday and Record Store Day are the same day this year??
My Record Store Day Tour starts 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at POSITIVELY RECORDS in Levittown PA. Then, the MMaRmy Truck pulls into PHIDELITY RECORDS 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. in Haddon Township NJ. Then, we drive over to HOWARD & NAN’S RECORD SHOP in The Berlin Farmers Market in Berlin, NJ!!
I’m super excited and will have My Prize Coffin On Wheels stuffed with WMMR and JBB SHIRTS. Please bring the family out. We can shop together and grab some gifts for that true music lover on your Holiday Gift List…

Turkey Drop 2023 Was A Success
I had the honor of helping our sister station 102.9 WMGK with their annual Thanksgiving food drive and fundraiser. Turkey Drop 2023 was an absolute success!
The Annual MGK Turkey Drop, presented by ACME Markets, is the largest one-day food gathering event in Philadelphia. The MGK air staff spread out around the tri-state area collecting turkey & monetary donations for CityTeam Philadelphia, an organization that provides holiday meals to less fortunate families in the Philadelphia region.
I got to hang out at the Voorhees, New Jersey ACME donation location from 7 to 10 am on Tuesday, November 22, 2023. It was so fun to hang with all of the generous listeners who stopped by to donate.
I made sure to wear my BIGGEST Mummer get-up for the event. It was a great way to spend a morning. I helped out my drinking buddy Matty Cord while he was on the air for his WMGK Morning Show with Steve Vassalotti!

The JACKY BAMBAM SHOW is on 93.3 WMMR Weeknights 7p-12a playing the coolest songs ever made with many features for true music lovers. Jacky is a big supporter of The Philadelphia Mummers and is a Seven Time First Prize Award Winning Hall Of Fame Mummer. Before he took over the microphone, he was a drummer who released 2 albums and toured all over the world.
